Where do I park?

We have two parking locations. The first is a large lot on the corner of S. Tropical Trail and Crooked Mile Road. If you are dropping children off at the Hall Building for Sunday School, visiting the church office, or attending 8:15 worship, this is the best place to park.

The second lot is 2 blocks west on S. Tropical Trail. There will be members of the parking ministry there to guide you into a spot in this lot.

Where do I go?

The 8:15 worship service is located inside the white sanctuary by the first parking lot. There will be someone there to greet you and point you in the right direction. Come on in, grab a bulletin, and make yourself comfortable. The service will start with the Pastor sharing a greeting.

The 9:30 & 11:00 worship services are located in Provost. This building is 2 blocks west of the sanctuary. It is a short enjoyable walk from the first parking lot. Or you can park in the Provost lot and you can enter the building from the porch facing the river. Get here early for a parking spot!

Where do my kids go?

The nursery is a safe and caring place for your children from birth to 4 years old. There is Sunday School during the 9:30 worship hour for K-6th grade children. They are always welcome with you in worship. There is also a Big House children's church available for your children during the 11:00 worship hour.

Contact our children's minister, Chris, for more information.

The teenagers often enjoy sitting together with our youth minister, Eric.

What are worship services like?

Our worship minister, Ivy, has written some great thoughts about worship at Georgianna on our worship page.

What do I wear?

No matter what your personal style, you’ll be comfortable at Georgianna. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit. Florida casual is probably the most common attire.

Preschoolers and children learn while they play. We encourage hands on play so that children are learning through all their senses. Painting and other “messy” activities are also encouraged, so use your own judgment about how dressed up your child is while at church.

Our Middle and High School students usually dress casually on Sunday and Wednesday evenings because games and sporting events are often held outside and sometimes involve getting messy.

What else happens on Sunday?

The activities and worship opportunities that are available to you every Sunday at Georgianna are designed to help you get plugged in to a place where you feel you belong.

Solomon's Porch is an adult Bible study group that meets at 9:30am on the Parsonage Porch. It's led by Minister Stacia Glavas. It began from a Bible 101 class and no one wanted to stop learning! Everyone is welcome.

Children's Sunday School meets in the Hall Building for K-6th grade at 9:30am. The teachers are dynamic and really love children. Children's Director, Chris Knight, does a fantastic job of choosing curriculum that encourages and strengthens your children. Our 5-6th graders are in Fishing 56 and also meet monthly for special events.

Jr. High Sunday School meets at 9:30am at a house next door to Provost.
Sr. High Sunday School meets at 11:00am in the Pastor's office.

Family Night Suppers happen quarterly on Sunday evenings. We have a basket auction (April), pie auction (November), and more. Since our campus size limits large events, we often meet at Kiwanis Island. It's a great time for the whole church body to gather in one place.

What happens on other days?

Check out our church calendar here. There are three Bible study groups for men. A new women's group meets on Thursdays. You can get more information about children & youth gatherings on their respective pages.

The office is open from 9:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday. Mona & Judy would love to hear from you!

Can I meet the Pastor?

The Pastor would love to meet you!  Pastor Corky is outside after worship every Sunday morning to personally greet our guests and he asks that you take a moment to stop and say hello.  If you would like a more in-depth visit with the Pastor, please call the church office to set up a time for a personal visit or phone call.

The church office is available Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at 321-452-7523.
