Favorite Verse: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that he who believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

Hero (besides Jesus): Grandmother (Maria). My mom's mother…she is now 92! She struggled daily throughout WWII (in Austria) to keep her family (5 kids) safe and together. She is brave, has a strong faith in God, and still maintains her "never-give-up" attitude! She is also an amazing gardener, cook and Bingo player!

What do you do when you're not working: Does this ever happen? ...I enjoy cooking, baking, gardening, reading, and boating with my family

Favorite part of your job at Georgianna: Getting to know the children and their families

Favorite Movies: It's a Wonderful Life

Passionate About: Raising my children to be healthy and happy, well-rounded adults who know and follow Jesus. At this stage in my life, I am not passionate about any one cause. My present desire is to make a difference in my community in each opportunity provided.

Favorite Music: I am a closet performer…I enjoy singing and dancing to anything that has a good beat! However, about 6 years ago, Vann and I started listening to Christian radio. It was initially an attempt to keep our children from hearing the inappropriate language and news that was on most other radio stations. We now rarely listen to anything else. I am deeply moved by Christian music and it is a good way for me to keep God on my mind throughout the day.

Life Story: I was rescued from a Romanian orphanage in 1969, shortly after birth. No …just kidding. I do not have an exciting "Faith Story". However, I was blessed with parents who, from day one, included God in my life. I can't remember a day not knowing Jesus Christ.

My parents are devout Catholics. They are faithful in their walk with Christ. They have always attended Bible studies, made time for a daily devotion, given generously of their time and finances and maintained a belief in God that is never questioned. By their example, I learned a responsibility to not only participate, but to invest in my church as well. Huh!...not a boring story after all… my parent's faith is a great example of what God intended for parents to provide for their children!

Vision for Georgianna: In the Children's Ministry…

1. Spiritual growth in our children
My desire is that our children will understand their faith and use it as their guide throughout life.

2. Growth in numbers of children/families led to Christ
I hope to reach as many children and families as possible and share with them our relationship with God. I also am excited at the thought of our children making a difference in our community...at school, on the soccer field, on the playground, in their friendships. I want God to be evident in them, shining upon the people they interact with on a daily basis.
